big fran’s broken hole

little off the reason
you’ll hurt your bigboy brain

big fran spent thirty years
trying to break that big fuckin wall
the immensity of the brick
gave him piles in the end

every other week
yer man in the shirt
would come along and pop
various tuppences and pittances
into the slits
where fran’s eyes used to be
