Party

Print

by Rebecca Watts

The babies don’t know how to party.
They just keep on toppling over.
The toddlers don’t know how to party.
They’re snatching and hitting each other.
The children don’t know how to party.
They scream and rebound off each other.
The parents don’t know how to party.
They’re yawning and hating each other.
My friends used to know how to party.
Today they’re all dressed up as mother.
